A 65-year-old man convicted of three Central Texas murders from 1982, 2019 and 2023, now faces child pornography charges, according to court documents obtained by KXAN.

Raul Meza, Jr., pleaded guilty in 2024 to the 2023 death of Jesse Fraga in Pflugerville and the 2019 death of Gloria Lofton in south Austin. He received a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
Meza killed 8-year-old Kendra Page in 1982. The conviction came as a result of a plea deal. Due to lax state laws at the time, he got out of prison after 11 years for good behavior.
When Austin Police arrested Meza in the 2023 case, Interim Assistant City Manager Bruce Mills, who was also the primary investigator on the 1982 case, called Meza a “serial killer.”
